The Legacy
In 1999, some of the brightest minds in the oven and heat-treating industry combined hundreds of years of experience to form HeatTek.
The goal was simple - provide the highest quality equipment and back it with superior customer service and on-site support. To this day, HeatTek’s “Never Settle” commitment ensures customers remain as profitable and efficient as possible.
With a focus on research and development as well as a commitment to hiring and retaining great people, HeatTek continues to be a pioneer in the heat treat industry, earning the trust of more manufacturers every year.

The Journey
1999 - With a few highly experienced industry veterans, HeatTek was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The company focused on engineering and manufacturing ovens and furnaces.
2000 – With rapid early growth, HeatTek moved into a larger manufacturing facility in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
2001 – Offerings were expanded into rechargeable battery lines and metal container equipment.
2003 – HeatTek expanded into vacuum pressure impregnation equipment to complement its service to the Electric Motor / Motor Repair Shop market.
2004 – HeatTek built and moved into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ixonia, Wisconsin.
2005 – HeatTek built its first Metal Container Pin oven and entered the market with an industry-leading design.
2014 – To support continued growth, the HeatTek manufacturing facility was expanded, more than doubling in size.
2015 – The 1st Annual Wellness Fair and 3K Race was held. This was the starting point for HeatTek’s highly recognized wellness program with almost 100% participation.
2016 – As the electric vehicle market continued to evolve, HeatTek worked with the automotive industry’s leading manufacturers to provide E-Motor coating systems and equipment.
2017 – HeatTek began offering audit services to ensure ongoing safety and compliance for customers.
2018 – As scrutiny built over the planet’s dependency on plastic, HeatTek partnered with some of the world leaders in the metal container industry as they prepared long-term plans to provide a sustainable alternative.
2019 – HeatTek expanded its offering to include washers/rinsers to the Metal Container industry and supplied its first complete customized system.
2019 – In response to a growing number of projects, HeatTek opened a second and third manufacturing facility in Waukesha, WI.
2020 – HeatTek moves its secondary manufacturing facility from Waukesha to West Allis, WI to gain more space and flexibility.
2021 – A new warehouse facility is purchased down the road from the headquarters office in Ixonia, WI to provide more manufacturing space and improve logistics.
2023 – HeatTek is named one of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Top Workplaces in the publication’s annual employer recognition program.
2024 – For the second year in a row, HeatTek is named one of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Top Workplaces.
